Fully managed van stock solution creates efficiencies for Leeds City Council

Working in partnership with Reallies and framework provider Wolseley Integrated Services, Leeds City Council have moved to a fully delivered service from a managed stores and van stock replenishment system, reducing the need for operatives to visit stores. With 3,500 product lines they have been able to reduce their materials spend by intense focus on the top 60 spend items, which represents half their monthly spend.

Working with the framework is really helping us to transition from an inefficient collection based stores service to a more efficient delivered model, increasing operative outputs. With 4,500 orders per month and 200+ operatives, the Reallies framework and Wolseley have become truly valued partners in aiding our cultural shift and use of data along our efficiency journey”

Savings include a 8.6% reduction in overhead costs and 16% reduction in materials costs.
